Do you all know about The Soup on the E! Television network? It's a hilarious show hosted by Joel McHale that recaps the week in TV and pop culture. It's perfect for hangover Sundays. Well, some friends of mine were watching and informed me that they mocked "Designer Downloads" from Fashion House.The "Designer Downloads" were originally meant to go on the internet but when some scenes got cut during production the producers realized they needed to fill time, so these segments got bumped to being a part of the episodes. Um... guess who wrote those.
Yeah, and I kind of cringe every time I see them because they're just so basic-- stuff your teenage sister would love but not somone who reads Cosmo regularly. They were also written to star Michelle and Nikki, not the gay guys Hans and Harold, so they've been changed slightly but not in any real significant way... they're just SO MUCH GAYER NOW!Anyway, "The Soup" showed the one I wrote about job interviews and then called them PSGays... instead of PSAs. HILARIOUS! I love "The Soup". I want to marry it.
Also, in a very exciting moment, friend Stephen Albright did a screen capture from the Saturday recap episode that features my name in the credits.
We love Stephen! Thanks. Now my mom can family will actually be able to see it since the credits are so small and fly up the screen so quickly. More later... must outline an episode of The Heiress.Oh and if you're lookin for something to watch, I wrote tonight's episode.

Congratulations on making The Soup! That has to be one of the funniest shows on cable (and the only thing I'll watch on E! - the channel, not the drug).
I know you have nothing to do with the editing, but can I complain a little about the B&W flashbacks? Every two seconds they replay material from the previous night (or previous WHATEVER)! In Friday's show, they actually "flashbacked" to a scene that occurred earlier in THE SAME EPISODE!!!
Now, I know that there are PLENTY of stupid people out there (Bush's re-election, anyone?), but is it really necessary to recap every two seconds?? Should people who need to be reminded what happened 15 minutes eariler even be allowed to have cable?? Or electricity???
Sorry! Sorry! It's just that I DVR this show throughout the week & watch all of the episodes over the weekend. Deja Vu Hell...
But, the most frustrating part is waiting for Morgan to make her appearance (not just her mouth)!! I love all of Bo's bitchy dialogue. ("Now run away") But, I absolutely cannot wait for these two to meet face to face. Can't wait for the outrageous, campy, gay-as-hell lines you wrote for them! Bo is good, but Morgan has a patent on playing the "superbitch." And, we all love those, right?

Yeah, the flashbacks can be annoying. Many explanations for them, but none that I have any control over. God willing we'll have less of them in the coming weeks.
And yes... Le Fairchild is a VERY nice addition. Just wait. It gets meaner and meaner.
"Meaner and meaner." You made my day! Cannot wait for these two to go at it & also find out how the two of them are connected with the freaky goatee guy. (Haven't seen if he has a nice chest yet, so I don't know if I like him ;))
Why are gay men so attracted to strong female figures fighting in "super bitch mode?" I'm sure there's some kind of psychological BS answer to this, but who cares???? It's so much fun!!
